Kiek Over in Koserow

Actually a nice property located directly on the cliffs of Koserow. Unfortunately, the Nordic cool and not very motivated workforce spoils the impression. If I ask in a friendly manner whether the outdoor seating is served or not, the answer comes "sometimes yes, sometimes no", then this does not testify to host qualities. I would like to emphasize that at this point there were 5 guests inside and two of us outside! I don't want to know how it works when it's full. Conclusion: location top service flop.

I guess that's inside the boss, he can't help it. Since the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, the staff is no better.

Rude, sleepy service. We were ignored for 15 minutes. The waiter ran past us several times and just stared unfriendly. No greeting, no "I'll be right with you". They don't seem to need it. Thank you, then not ...

The saying on the house wall actually says everything - the view is great - unfortunately not the food. In contrast to the promising names on the menu, the portions present themselves with greasy food and ready-made sauces. Unfortunately, price and performance do not match at all here.

Food was OK, nothing special, but not overpriced either. One sits partly in double beach chairs - quite original. Perfect for a break during a bike tour! 2 star deduction but for the musty, rather unfriendly service! The colleague has noticed his non-existent desire but something like that ... After 15 minutes of waiting, I ventured on September 23. to draw attention to me. Until then I had not been noticed. The answer was a harsh "Take it easy". I said goodbye by saying that it was probably not necessary. Answer: "Go ahead then". I have done. Never again!

It was a very nice evening. Thank you for the delicious food and for the friendly service. We didn't reserve in advance, but we were greeted very friendly and got a seat straight away. We would love to come back.

Great sea view. Nice terrace with an excellent view of the cliff. Good cuisine, delicious and home-made soups as well as crepe recommendable.

Always like to come back here. It has become a "tradition" to eat here with the family. Here you can sit and relax with a cold drink and a great view! The staff is also "the power in bags" if you can handle the North German charm. Always a little saying on it, even when it's stressful. So we like it ... Clear recommendation!

It's a shame, the location is almost perfect and with friendliness it could be a cozy evening. Dealing (today's boss) with the guests is impossible and lacks any form. Food below average for the beautiful place Koserow.

I can give two stars: one for the Aperol Sprizz and one for the beach chairs. The rest can be forgotten. Very bad food at Usedom's usual overpriced prices. The herring is of poor quality and tarnished. Salad tastes bland and moderately fresh. The fish soup is awful. Everything kind of boring standard in poor quality. Too bad.

Very nicely located restaurant. The beach chairs offer space, shade and wind protection for the whole family. Drinks came quickly, food in an absolutely reasonable time. The quality was good and reasonable for the price. The staff was friendly and humorous. The disposal facilities were also spotlessly clean.

A dream place even when it rains. We have been a guest here for many years. In the large beach chairs you can sit in the dry in a romantic way even when it rains. Food and service just great as always. We would love to come back.

Food very good, staff friendly in its own way. The prices on the Internet could be updated as they usually differ by around 3 euros for various dishes. Quality but also good, but still a little expensive. Would recommend it because delicious and the view is of course a dream.

But maybe it's just this Nordic style that others (including me) perceive or interpret as unfriendliness. You can sit outside in larger beach chairs and eat here, which is very original. Only a few meters from the restaurant you have a great view of the Baltic Sea from above. The prices are ok for the location and the offered food and drinks.

The location is great, right on the beach. The food was good. The service could have been a bit friendlier. But all in all, good.
